Dick Butkus takes a jab at Aaron Rodgers once again. But this time in the wake of Rodgers’ break-up with Shailene Woodley. The news of the couple’s split prompted Butkus to go over his Twitter to take a shot at Rodgers.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and actress Shailene Woodley have called off their engagement. According to People, a source close to Rodgers, confirmed, “It was an amicable split; it just wasn’t working. They’re very different people with busy careers and there were obstacles that they couldn’t surmount.”

As soon as the breakup news broke, the Bears legend attacked Rodgers, as he has been doing since January.

Since the couple has broken up, Butkus tweeted and clarified to everyone that he had nothing to do with their separation.

The one-sided banter between Butkus and Rodgers began in January 2022. Butkus started a campaign to get his Twitter account verified. And after finally getting a blue-tick mark beside his name, he went after Rodgers.

Since Rodgers isn’t always active on social media, he didn’t reply to his comments. However, Rodgers’ fans gave some harsh feedback to Dick Butkus.

Consequently, he apologized but ended up making another sarcastic remark. He wrote, “Sorry you are still trapped in a kid’s body.”

In addition, he tweeted that he would try not to disappoint anyone, but if something were to happen, it would be too “damn bad.”

The legendary Dick Butkus played nine seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. Additionally, he made eight appearances in the Pro Bowl and was named to the All-Pro teams five times.

Furthermore, in 1979, the star linebacker was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Consequently, the Bears retired his number 51 jersey to commemorate his incredible career.
