Aaron Rodgers and actress Shailene Woodley dated for a brief period. The couple even got engaged to each other, but still, they split up. They had expressed their different opinions on having children. Maybe that could have also played a part in their breakup.

Last year, Aaron Rodgers on Instagram live talked about the idea of having kids. He said, “I’m in that age group where a lot of my close friends from high school and college are fathers now and have families of their own.”

He added, “It’s maybe not in the immediate future, but definitely something that I really look forward to. I’ve done a pretty good job at taking care of myself for the last 37 years and look forward to taking care of another life at some point too. I just think it’s going to be so fun.”

Even though the Green Bay Packers quarterback wanted to have kids, he wasn’t ready to have them immediately. He highlighted the fact that after his NFL career is over, he might look to start a family.

Shailene Woodley had a rather different opinion than Aaron Rodgers

In contrast to Aaron Rodgers’ statement, Shailene Woodley had a different opinion. During an interview in 2019, Shailene said, “The best thing about playing a mom on TV is you get to send them [kids] home at the end of the day with their real parents… It’s great, but I want little babies so bad now.” 

While Aaron Rodgers was looking to take some time before having kids, Shailene has been interested in having kids for a long time. Such differences in opinions can sometimes lead to the end of relationships.
