Nonetheless, the Chiefs triumphed and met the Cincinnati Bengals for the AFC crown and a spot in Super Bowl LVI. Although Patrick Mahomes believes the encounter wouldn’t be in their favor if it hadn’t been for the coin flip.

Mahomes recounts the occasion by saying, “I think the biggest thing for me at least, I know Josh is talking, was to kind of stay at the moment. I mean, that was a heck of a game. And luckily, the coin toss went my way, so we got to move on to the next round.”

Josh Allen appears to have gotten the raw end of the deal in their competition between the two QBs. Allen has only defeated the Chiefs once within their four sessions.
