For the past few years, Patrick Mahomes has been publicly showcasing his love for supercars. On Mother’s Day, Mahomes took to Twitter to share photographs with his wife and mother of his daughter, Brittany Matthews. Standing behind the couple that drew significantly more attention, is their incredible Ferrari 812 Superfast.

This photo might’ve led some to believe he bought that car for his wife as a Mother’s Day gift. Although that sounds awesome and quite romantic, Mahomes actually purchased it in 2020. “Happy Mother’s Day to this fine mama,” Mahomes wrote on Twitter, with the couple looking as beautiful as their car.

The duo was also wearing their limited edition Rolex watches. However, it is not clear whether it is a part of Mahomes’ gift to his wife. Interestingly, the pic appeared just a few hours after the couple extended their support for Ferrari in the inaugural Formula One Miami Grand Prix this year.

Even though there has been no official confirmation about the car, it is estimated to cost around $338,000. Something which is quite affordable for the quarterback looking at his NFL contract. However, the car isn’t a gift, but it’s something he already owned. Mahomes purchased the car in 2020 after his Super Bowl win. Fair to say, it’s a gift fitting of the occasion.

After Odell Beckham Jr., it is justifiable to say Patrick Mahomes is the next dapper ruling the fashion world from the NFL fraternity. Despite bagging a mega 10-year contract in 2020, Mahomes never went after luxury until he purchased a brand new Ferrari 812 Superfast the same year.

Similarly, he purchased a brand new Lamborghini for his wife, Brittany Matthews, who was carrying his baby at that time. When asked about the reason, the quarterback didn’t have any specific justification, he just wanted to make the moment special.
