Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks started Week 9 as firm favorites to win against the AFC East franchise Buffalo Bills on Sunday. However, Josh Allen and his band of speedsters had other plans.

The 24-year-old quarterback was at his very best last night. He threw for 415 yards with 3 passing TDs to hand the Bills a memorable win at the Ralph Wilson Stadium.

“These guys didn’t even try to run the football today. We didn’t expect that to happen, we didn’t think they would totally abandon the running game.

“We had a real nice plan for how they were gonna run it and we have to be able to adapt better,” Carroll said via NBC Sports Northwest correspondent Joe Fann.

Despite the defeat, the Seahawks remain at the top of the NFC West Division table. They will play their divisional rivals (Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals) over the next 2 weeks.

With the likes of Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf, and Jamal Adams in inspired form, the Seahawks will back themselves to seal a playoff spot, sooner rather than later.

Coach Carroll will make sure to learn from Sunday’s loss and never underestimate his opponents as the Seahawks push to make this year’s Super Bowl.
