Aaron Rodgers is not just contributing to the team’s success on the field; he’s also playing a crucial role in shaping and developing the skills of younger players like Michael Carter II. Michael says that facing Rodgers every day makes him a better player and teaches him how to read the game. The defense’s plan to trick Rodgers fails

The Jets’ defensive back (DB) attempted to disguise his tactics and trick the experienced quarterback. However, Michael’s plan didn’t go as expected, and the outcome was far from successful. In a recent interview after the practice session, Michael admitted that they have attempted to fool Aaron Rodgers by switching up their defensive schemes, but he usually sees through their tricks and executes well.

According to a Tweet by Paul Andrew Esden Jr., “DB Michael Carter II told that it’s been ‘invaluable’ to have Aaron Rodgers going against the defense in practice. They’ve tried disguising things to try & trick him + when AR gets them, they go over it to learn why.”

Interestingly, Michael mentioned that they take those moments as opportunities to learn from him and understand his thought process.
