With Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner gone, Seattle Seahawks do not want to let go of their young wide receiver DK Metcalf. There have been persistent rumors of teams trying to approach the 24-year-old receiver, but Metcalf hasn’t shown much interest in them. Although his future with the Seahawks looks very much summed up, there is one player who begs him to stay.

The San Francisco 49ers free safety Jimmie Ward recently called out to DK Metcalf. He wants the young wideout to stay in Seattle so they can meet twice the upcoming season. The NFC West rival had a hilarious yet competitive reaction when one of his fans asked him about his opinions on DK live on Instagram.

The 30-year-old safety would be very much itching to get claim his dominance over DK since he hasn’t won any of his last five games. Ever since the 2019 season, the year DK Metcalf got drafted by the Seahawks, Ward has held a 1-5 record against Metcalf. Which explains why he desperately wants DK to stay in NFC West.

Metcalf, on the other hand, isn’t planning on leaving the Seahawks and it’s very likely that a rematch between the two might take place next season. However, it will be even more interesting this time since Ward has just brought some spice into the game by challenging Metcalf.
