But now there are rumors about a DK Metcalf trade. Can the Seahawks afford to trade their star wide receiver away? Are these rumors true?

It seems like the speculators know more than Metcalf himself. Because the Seahawks wide receiver has not heard anything from anyone about him being traded away. The receiver market has been crazy this year. If DK is available, we can see some more crazy trades. 

DK Metcalf shuts down trade rumors?

The trade rumors always run wild during every NFL offseason. You never know which player will end up where? DK Metcalf was the latest victim of rumors and speculations. The NFL insider Ian Rapoport was a guest on the Pat McAfee Show recently. During the broadcast, he talked about the possible trades of Metcalf and Tennessee Titans wide receiver AJ Brown.

I haven’t got the sense that either organization has done anything to say that they will trade either AJ Brown or DK Metcalf.” This statement by RapSheet made the internet go berserk with trade rumors. A Twitter account by the name of ‘JPA Football’ tweeted, “Rumors: Teams calling Seattle about trading for WR DK Metcalf,”

DK saw the tweet and replied, “Haven’t heard anything,” he even tagged himself as the source. It was hilarious. JPA Football replied to Metcalf’s response by saying, “You’re a commander per me.” Now nobody has confirmed or denied this rumor. But according to the athlete himself, he will be staying with the Seattle Seahawks for the next season. 

Will the Seahawks trade Metcalf if the price is right?

The Seattle Seahawks have made some bold decisions this offseason. But can they be on to more? With rumors floating around, they might consider trading DK Metcalf. 

“This is a name that’s buzzing in league circles. No guarantee that anything happens here,” said Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.“I’m told that Metcalf has gotten indications, informally from the team, that he’s not going to be traded. Seattle has said publicly they have no intention to trade him. But the execs I talk to keep bringing him up that maybe they would either be willing to move on at the right price or that Metcalf would welcome a change.” If any NFL team is looking for a talented receiver, the Seahawks might have one for the right price.
