Devin McCourty announced he would be hanging up his cleats. But that did not stop him from other franchise athletes pitching in. When the Safety athlete touched free agency, Los Angeles Chargers‘ Sebastian Joseph-Day tried to make a pitch on Twitter.

Since both are former Rutgers athletes, Joseph-Day tried to pitch an invite. However, Devin McCourty was quick to make a response. He mentioned, “😂😂😂😂I only look good in a pats uniform bro.” It led to him eventually announcing his retirement.
