It’s been a long time since Tom Brady’s days with the Patriots. However, one can never argue that those days were certainly the most glorious for both the team and the fans. The football GOAT may not have had the best agility, but his exceptional leadership skills were unmatched, forming special bonds with teammates-turned-friends like Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola. It’s they who collaborated with each other etching the team’s name in the history books.

However, a lot has changed since then, including all three of them calling it quits from the league. Despite his retirement, TB12 still associates with the fans, blessing them with his recent endeavors and creating countless wholesome interactions. Then, in a recent update, Brady went ahead and welcomed one of his former teammate cum friends into the social media world once more.

It’s a known fact that it couldn’t be Rob, as he’s constantly seen active on his pages, updating the fans with his day-to-day life activities. Then it becomes very obvious that it’s no other than Brady’s former WR teammate, Amendola. After a much-needed break from social media, the 2X Super Bowl champ was back on Instagram and Brady wasted no time in welcoming back his friend with open arms.

TB12 shared two stories on his page to announce the update on his former teammate’s return. TB12 captioned the story, “You hear Dola is back on Instagram?” and tagged the former WR on the post, also letting the fans know about the latter’s return.

In the second story, Brady posted a gif of his hard-core celebration, where he can be seen thumping the air while running. He added another caption to the said story, adding, “How that makes me feel,” with a laughing emoji, showcasing his full-celebratory mode. Amendola has also amassed more than 8000 followers only a few hours after joining the platform. While it’s very tempting to witness such a comeback celebration, it also raises the question of why the former WR left in the first place.

Why did Amendola leave?

The 2x Super Bowl Champ always tried to keep his life personal from the public view, however it took a serious turn, with hectic allegations from his ex Olivia Culpo. Following their break up, Amendola took to Instagram to speak his mind. He urged others not to entangle him with their own stories. Then, in a surprising turn of events, he posted a cryptic quote, throwing shade at his ex. Following this incident, one thing led to another, with the American model, Culpo, coming out with several allegations. The former WR has been out of the public eye since.

He took a different route post-retirement and became the assistant head coach of the Raiders, the same team in which Brady has brought a minority share. Although the upcoming season is full of uncertainty, it can be said for sure that Amendola and Brady will be seen together courtside, if the latter’s acquisition with the team is approved. Only time will tell if that is so.
