“Don’t Make Them a Leader”: Released From Hospital, Colorado Coach Deion Sanders Shares Three Life-Changing Lessons

Life is filled with uncertainties, and former NFL player Deion Sanders knows this firsthand. However, we all know Sanders as Prime Time, a man of resilience and unwavering strength. Recently, he achieved a remarkable victory over a severe health condition, adding another chapter to his illustrious career. Sanders, who has clinched two Super Bowl championships during his NFL tenure, continues to chase victories even in retirement.

Sanders faced the threat of foot amputation due to blood clots in his legs. Despite having already lost his left big toe and second toe, Sanders has successfully escaped another feat of amputation. And subsequently, he had a successful blood clot removal surgery, after which he was released from the hospital. Following the hardships, Sanders has shared life-changing lessons curated from his personal experiences.

Having already endured the amputation of his left big toe and second toe, Sanders was determined to preserve the rest. With each successful surgery, he has moved closer to reclaiming full mobility and gaining control over his active lifestyle. While Sanders continues to recover from the procedures, he shares his thoughts with his fans.

Sanders said in an Instagram post, “Just because someone’s in the front of the crowd don’t make them a leader & just because they’re in the back, don’t make them a follower. Wherever God has called u to be please be just that & the best at it. Stop jockying for Position & focus on your Purpose.”

Prime Time has endured amidst all the hardships. Back in 2022, he was appointed as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, but following his health concerns, he missed out on the season.

However, for the upcoming schedule, Sanders can be seen coaching the Colorado Buffaloes, considering the health parameters are in check.

In 2023, the stage is set for Deion Sanders to make a lasting impact on the Colorado Buffaloes and the football community at large. His successful surgeries have not only transformed his personal journey but have also ignited a sense of hope and resilience in those who admire him. The Buffaloes’ quarterback Travis Hunter and wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., along with the guidance of Sanders, can be the proving point for Buffaloes.

The new schedule for Colorado Buffaloes begins in September, up till then, Sanders will be recovering and getting on the field. However, the feelings are optimistic considering the strength Prime Time has shown in the recent past. He can be soon witnessed in the Buffaloes’ camp and enduring future victories.
