“Don’t Want Our Players Inside The Building” – Expert Gives Insider Information on NFL Camp

The NFL Executive Vice-President for Football Operations, Troy Vincent Sr., sent a mail to all 32 team owners and head coaches on July 18, 2020. The contents of the memo/mail include the start date for NFL Camp, which is set for July 21 as scheduled before.
As per the schedule, 2020 season rookies will join their respective team setups on Tuesday. Injured players and quarterbacks will report for training on July 23, while the rest of the squad will arrive on July 28.
However, NFL reporter Tom Pelissero reports that everything will not move forward as seamlessly as expected.

“Why should the players give anything back? The owners are taking no risk. I mean, fundamentally, certainly, you can say that.
“There are GMs who have flat out told me, ‘I don’t even want our players in the building. I don’t want our coaches in the building. We are not set up for this. We don’t have enough answers.’

“We can’t move forward at this time,” Pelissero said on the podcast.
Fans will not be allowed inside training facilities, says league spokesperson
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said in an interview with Pro Football Talk that there will be certain restrictions for fans before preseason begins.

“Fans will not be permitted at training camp this year. This is a league-wide policy. Clubs may hold up to two events at their stadium provided they adhere to all state and local guidelines,” McCarthy said via email.
