The NFL has produced some of the greatest QBs in the past few decades. And amongst those, 7X Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, and 3X Super Bowl champ Steve Young remain some of the fan-favorite QBs to play in the league to date. Before Brady’s excellence in the NFL, Steve Young won three Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers in the 90s. And after a year of his retirement, Tom Brady went on to show the world his excellence for the New England Patriots, leading them to six Super Bowl championships.

Both these QBs have had significant careers in the NFL. And their achievements and accolades have earned the praise of another veteran QB, who was also known as Captain America in the NFL.

Roger Staubach played QB for the Dallas Cowboys for 11 seasons back in the 1970s. He led the team to two Super Bowl wins in Super Bowl VI and XII. During his career, the 81-year-old had many nicknames, including Captain America and Captain Comeback for his game-winning fourth-quarter plays. And now, the former Cowboys QB veteran joined Tom Brady and Steve Young on the NFL GOAT’s ‘Let’s Go Podcast’ to show his appreciation for both the QBs who succeeded him in the NFL.

He then went on to talk about how people appreciated his achievements in the league. Staubach then further went on to praise Brady and Young, stating, “I know there’s a humbleness about these two guys. Here Tom and Steve both. They’re just not only fantastic football players. Life after football for the quarterbacks

Steve Young retired in 1999, after which he went on to work with ESPN for almost two decades. But recently, he was also a victim of the mass layoffs done by Disney in the channel to reduce their expenses. But the 3X SB champ found another job as an assistant coach in California. He’s going to be working with fellow 49ers QB John Payne to coach the Menlo Girls Flag Football team. On the other hand, Tom Brady has been making many various sports investments prior to the start of his FOX broadcast career next year. And most recently, he invested to be an owner of the debut seasons of the E1 electric boat race championship.

While both Young and Brady have retired, their names will still echo amongst fans just like Roger Staubach’s name for years ahead in the future.
