Kansas City just had a big party after Patrick Mahomes and Co got the city a Super Bowl win. And the Kansas City Chiefs are a bunch of great players and partiers. But who is the real MVP (Most Valuable Partier) in the team? Mahomes lifted the lid on that and it is not the head coach Andy Reid.

Who is the (M)ost (V)aluable (P)artier among the Chiefs?

Patrick Mahomes appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ after the Chiefs lifted the Vince Lombardi trophy. And there, he revealed a lot of secrets about his teammates. He also gave the not-so-secret answer about the biggest party animal in the team.

Well, Mahomes is right. And everyone in the NFL universe knows what Mahomes told the fans. That was evident in the aftermath of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win.

The Super Bowl champs partied in style at the Hyatt Regency Resort with ‘The Chainsmokers’. Everybody in the Chiefs contingent sang their lungs out at the party. Kelce might be the MVP when it comes to parties. But the MVP on the football field is Mahomes himself. Since the QB came into the scene at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs have become a juggernaut.

Patrick Mahomes makes the Chiefs almost invincible

The Chiefs have dominated the AFC South division since 2016. But they didn’t come close to a Super Bowl until a certain Patrick Mahomes walked into the team. Since becoming a starter in the 2018 season, he has taken the team to the AFC championship game on every occasion. And in those years, the Chiefs have made it to the Super Bowl on three occasions, winning it twice.

The 2022 season was especially great for Mahomes. He not only bagged the NFL MVP award but also won the Super Bowl version of it. And he became the first player to do so in more than two decades. Before him, the last player who achieved the feat was the then-St. Louis Rams QB Kurt Warner in the 1999 season. And Mahomes biggest partner in crime on the field? It is none other than Travis Kelce.
