The Brazilian beauty had a serious relationship with Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio. However, the couple parted ways in 2005, and Bündchen confessed her reasons.

Gisele and Leo were one of the hottest couples in Hollywood. They were like a dream for several fans. But Bündchen dropped the bomb after breaking up with the actor. Their relationship was only disturbed because of their very different lifestyles and preferences. As per Esquire, the need for a revival arose in Bündchen’s 20s when she was battling depression. At that time, she was also dating DiCaprio. The couple was together for five years before splitting up in 2005, claiming they had opposing interests. After that, she married Tom Brady and is living a merry married life.

With Vanity Fair, Bündchen reminisced about a challenging period in her life, recalling when she started dating Tom Brady. Bridget Moynahan, Brady’s ex-girlfriend, surprised them by disclosing she was pregnant with his baby. The incident served as a wake-up call for the supermodel, who reflected on the unexpected circumstance.

Bündchen describes it as a “surprise” for both of us. Both had been dating for two and a half months when he found out, and it was a difficult situation. Gisele wondered, “Should I stay here?” Perhaps they should figure it out. But she thought to herself that when individuals break up, it is usually for some cause. She stuck by and encountered the hard times with Tom. The rest is history.
