The NFL has had franchises that etched history on numerous occasions. While it all depends on the roster build-up, dollar bills play a crucial part in it. For the Jacksonville Jaguars, money may not be a problem, but still staying mediocre in the NFL is. Despite setting records over their expenditure, the NFL fans on Twitter did not leave a moment to bash the franchise.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have trumpeted the treasury since Shad Khan took over as owner in 2012. When the Jaguars reached the AFC Championship Game in 2017-18, they felt solid. Yet, they were star-crossed and have remained as such ever since. Even Warren Sharp pointed out the franchise’s monetary efforts in free agency since 2012, and the numbers are gut-wrenching.
Fox Sports: NFL on Twitter shared, “Out of all 32 teams, the Jaguars have spent the most money [$1.64 Billion] during free agency over the last decade. They have also lost the most games.”

Moreover, as per FTW, no one can match the Jacksonville Jaguars’ splurge in terms of total money and guarantees. The Jaguars forewent roughly $330 million in contract value and $195,150,000 in guaranteed money. They also signed 16 players.

A user probably gave out the best talk possible for the franchise to follow.
Money doesn’t by wins. It’s a 53 man roster for a reason. Starts with coaching. Ends with culture. OL/DL more important then every position except the one that starts with a Q

According to one user, the Jags must overpay free agents in order to bring down to Duvall. So maybe that explains why the figure is enormous.
To be fair though the jags have to overpay free agents to come down to Duvall. So maybe that lends a hand to why our number is that high.

A user blasted and said that the ownership is dreadful. Even the QB play is atrocious.
