Patrick Mahomes started the game pretty well, and the Chiefs had a surreal lead at the end of the first half. The Chiefs were completely blown up in the second half and lost to the Cincinnati Bengals at home. After that 2nd half performance, Mahomes received a lot of criticism.

To this day, his fans are talking about that choke job he did and how it prevented him from being on track to catch Tom Brady.

The Kansas City Chiefs led the Bengals by 21-10, heading into halftime. After that, Mahomes and the Chiefs were able to score just 3 points for the rest of the game, and they lost in overtime.

With the way their offense clicked in the first two playoff games and in the first half against the Bengals, could it be said that the Chiefs could have defeated the Rams in the Super Bowl? Anyhow, it was a missed opportunity and will hinder Mahomes until he wins another Super Bowl with the Chiefs.
