The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown is again catching the headlines, but this time not for releasing a music album. Recently, he vented his criticism against Colin Kaepernick, saying the quarterback is “trash” on the field.

“He took a deal,” Brown said on the show. “We don’t feel sorry for you. You took the deal. F*** outta here. Oh, Kaepernick!'” he added in a mocking tone. “Man, you on f***ing Nike, man. F*** outta here.” Brown added to his comments.

Surprisingly, the 33-year-old free agent didn’t stop there, he went on to criticize his intention for his future in the NFL. Brown thinks that Kaepernick doesn’t want to play.

“All that is Kap,” Brown said. “We ain’t respecting that, bro. You took the money, the commercials. We don’t see you outside. We don’t see him in the hood. He doesn’t do anything. Like, we cool. But, nah, we ain’t even stan Kaepernick.” Brown added in the interview.

He thinks the settlement Kap reached with the league in 2019 sufficiently took care of him. It has been more than six years since Kaepernick played in the NFL. As a quarterback, he faced backlash in 2016 for kneeling while the National anthem played at the start of the matches. Former Niners safety Eric Reid also joined him in the silent procession.

After alleging that the NFL teams colluded to keep them off the field, Kaepernick and Reid filed a legal lawsuit. Later a settlement was agreed upon between both the parties and the players were estimated to receive less than $10 million from the league.

Even though the confidential agreement was widely celebrated as a victory, the compensation they received was far less than what they could have gained otherwise.
