Germany’s introduction to a live NFL game couldn’t get more American than it did. The Germans witnessed a Tom Brady victory in all its glory with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning 21-16 against the Seattle Seahawks at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

In the home to Germany’s most successful team, Bayern Munich, German fans witnessed a different kind of football with unparalleled enthusiasm. The packed house was loud in their cheers, singing, and of course, booing. The almost palpable, electric atmosphere seems to be one for the books for seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

Post their thrilling victory, Brady stated that the game was one of the best football experiences he’s had. For someone who’s spent 23 years in the league, that statement says a lot about the experience. Brady conveyed his appreciation for their host’s hospitality.
