Aaron Rodgers, one of the most accomplished quarterbacks, has been making headlines since his trade to the Big Apple from the Green Bay Packers. As the offseason progresses, more and more pieces of his wishlist are discovered. The final piece of his wishlist, Randall Cobb, was recently traded to the New York Jets, revealing something about AR12 that Packers as well as Jets fans were doubting.

The 39-year-old QB was traded to the Jets in April this year, after 40-days substantive talk with the Packers. He spent 18 years with the Packers, and before being traded, he apparently released a list of players, which he wanted the Jets to acquire. And now, Cobb, after having met Rodgers in the facilities, tell fans a heartwarming news.

Rodgers’ final piece of wishlist, wide receiver ‘Randall Cobb’, recently signed a one-year deal with the Jets. Cobb has worked with Rodgers as his teammate for about ten seasons in the Packers. Since then, they have had a close relationship. With his joining, the Jets will have a solid slot receiver and route runner in his form. Cobb recently visited the Jets’ facility to sign his one-year contract. While there, he caught up with his former teammate, and it pleased him to see Rodgers happy.

During an interview on ‘Up & Adams’ show, Cobb revealed about Rodgers, via NY Post, “I think this whole change of scenery has been great for him, it’s reenergized him.” The 32-year-old added, “I went up to the facility a couple of days ago to sign and just to see him happy and being himself, and the old Aaron Rodgers that I remember, he’s himself again. I look forward to seeing him continue to grow and find himself.” Rodgers in ‘The PAT McAfee Show’ also mentioned that he finds himself happy after joining the Jets and receiving celebrity treatment in New York. Before joining the Jets, Rodgers had a wishlist of players he hoped would also join the team.

Rodgers’ wishlist is almost over

On the verge of his trade to the Jets, Rodgers had given his wishlist of players whom he wanted to be with him on the new team. Among them, via NBC Sports, were his former teammates with the Packers. The list included Randall Cobb, Marcedes Lewis, Allen Lazard, and Odell Beckham Jr. Although, OBJ went to play with Lamar Jackson, Cobb has already signed with the Jets, and WR Lazard has also joined the team. Whereas, Lewis‌ is still a free agent, which means he still can join the Jets.

As far as the case of Beckham Jr is concerned, this free agent wideout has moved to a new destination for a year, i.e. the Baltimore Ravens. Meanwhile, the Jets added Nathaniel Hackett, Rodgers’ former offensive coordinator, to their roster this year. Hackett and Rodgers have a close friendship and have worked together in the past. The addition of Hackett and others to the Jets has reportedly pleased Rodgers, and fans are eagerly anticipating a big reunion and improved team collaboration this year.
