Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Le’Veon Bell ventured into the world of pro boxing with a matchup with retired UFC fighter Uriah Hall. But the result was different than what he had got in an exhibition bout against a fellow NFL player seven weeks earlier.

Well, fighting an experienced and battle-hardened fighter is not easy, is it?

This was the second time that Le’Veon Bell was seen in a boxing ring. The former Steelers star fought the former Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson in an exhibition match a few weeks earlier. While Bell knocked out Peterson in that bout, this one with the experienced Uriah Hall proved to be a much more difficult one. And in the end, Bell lost by a unanimous decision.

NFL Twitter went crazy at the defeat of the former Steelers RB. Some fans rubbed salt in Bell’s wounds after the defeat. For this fan, the former running back will find a new activity to be bad at.

The Le’Veon Bell – Uriah Hall fight wasn’t the only one on the lineup. Social media influencer turned pro boxer Jake Paul and MMA legend Anderson Silva squared off against each other in the main event of the night. Paul had come into the fight with a 5-0 record, winning four out of them by a knockout. But he was up against a formidable legend, and it surely couldn’t be a cakewalk for him.

And it turned out be a spectacular fight with Silva on top of Paul in the initial stage of the bout. The 25-year-old came back strongly and went for another knockout.

Paul could not knock Silva out. Silva is an experienced and tough fighter. Still, Paul managed to one up the legend through a unanimous decision at the end of the stipulated eight rounds.

Many celebrities have joined the ring recently. Jake Paul and Le’Veon Bell are two good examples of that. Fans got the watchable fights they came looking for and at the end, that is all that really matters.
