Aaron Rodgers has not won the Super Bowl in twelve years. However, he has laid his hands on another much-coveted trophy this week. After nine years of trying, the Green Bay Packers quarterback finally won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament with partner Ben Silverman. And Josh Allen did not seem happy.

Allen, who came in fourth with partner Keith Mitchell, put an asterisk next to Rodgers’ victory because of the unfavorable weather conditions. Well, Rodgers found it favorable, having won after 54 holes compared to last year’s winners Larry Fitzgerald and Bill Murray, who won over 72 holes. Josh was in a roasting mood after the amateur part of the competition.

Aaron Rodgers only had compliments for Josh Allen

Josh Allen was telling me there’s going to be an asterisk by this win because there were only three rounds. But I think our names are going to be up there for a long time,” A-Rod said after entering the Wall of Champions at Pebble Beach, following some iconic names like Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.

However, the Buffalo Bills quarterback was in no mood to accept his 4th-place finish. During Aaron Rodgers’ media chat, Josh Allen silently booed him from behind before finally interrupting the presser. “Hey Josh, come on in here,” Rodgers pulled Allen into his interview after the latter ironically congratulated him on the win.

I wish I got ten shots. Maybe we’d be on top too. I only got nine. If you add that up, it’s kinda equal,” Allen said. “I think they took a few off yours because of all your swing coaches,” A-Rod replied in the midst of reporters laughing.

Great to see you. God, you look good. You’re a good-looking man,” Rodgers continued. But Allen had enough.

The two QBs can become rivals next season

Aaron may have had the edge over Josh Allen in the off-season amateur golf tournament. However, things might get heated between the two on the field next season.

With Aaron Rodgers’ future with the Green Bay Packers hanging in the balance, talks of a move to the New York Jets have been making the rounds for quite some time. Both current players and former legends of Gang Green have been doing their part to coerce the 4x NFL MVP into an AFC East move. And that includes Jets legend Joe Namath, who has even given the green light for Rodgers to take his famed No 12 Jets jersey.
