Nick Bosa played out as a compelling force one should not mess with. The San Francisco 49ers athlete has remained an effective athlete that can stop the O-line players from making plays. Bosa’s dynamic abilities led to him securing the 2022-23 DPOY accolades. That season also saw radical roughing the passer issues, and the Niners DE kept his thoughts over the rulings.

The reigning DPOY joined Richard Sherman in his podcast. They opened up about the franchise’s season and Bosa winning the defensive player of the year accolade. The Niners DE also spoke upon the controversial roughing the passer ruling that wreaked troubles on several teams.

Nick Bosa looked critical over roughing the passer penalty problems

The Niners DE spoke out on how the defensive-line athletes were “foaming at the mouth,” to get hold of the QB1 and how they have to be careful to evade the roughing call. Nick Bosa also spoke on the slow motion captures, saying, “It’s weird because, like, slow motion looks so different.” He gave an example of the holding call over JuJu Smith-Schuster at Super Bowl LVII. Bosa added, “In slow motion, you see it. But in live speed, is that enough for real to get a call?”

Nick Bosa also spoke about blindside blocks being an illegal thing. However, the D-line athletes getting ear holed by the wide receiver in a full sprint is not off the books. Since the rules are about protecting the offense and not the defense, it gets challenging for athletes like Bosa to compete in the game.

The 2022-23 season saw some brother duos wreaking havoc. The Kelce brothers squared off at the Super Bowl while the Bosa siblings reached the playoffs. Joey Bosa also reacted to a notion that could potentially shake the NFL.

Is a Bosa Brothers union possible?

After the Kelce Brothers, Nick and Joey Bosa are among the top athletes in the NFL who are also brothers. While Nick is with the Niners, Joey wreaks havoc with the Los Angeles Chargers. It would be a dream to see them under the same franchise. Interestingly, Nick Bosa is not ruling it out.

While speaking to Richard Sherman in one of his latest podcast appearances, the free-agent cornerback asked about the possibility of having the Bosa brothers on the same team. The Niners athlete said, “I think him on the other side [of the D-line], it might break the NFL.”

While the chances are narrow, it could certainly have the capacity to wreck the NFL.
