NFL veteran Peyton Hillis landed in a hospital earlier this month after a swimming accident. It has been more than two weeks and he is on the road to recovery. New footage of the fateful day has emerged that shows the ex-Denver Broncos running back in bad shape moments after the incident. And he received help from the first responders on the beach.
Hillis jumped into the water to save his children from drowning. He succeeded in that, but he himself landed in the hospital in a critical condition.

According to the footage published by TMZ Sports, Hillis was in bad shape after getting out of the water. He lay in pain on the beach as first responders attended to him.

Hillis suffered extensive damage to his lungs and kidneys after the incident and was in critical condition. But he is on the road to recovery, according to Angela Cole, his longtime girlfriend. The past two weeks have been dramatic in Hillis’ case. His health deteriorated initially in the hospital, and he was on a ventilator. But Hillis is now out of danger.
