Football Crosses Over As Miami Dolphins Star Tua Tagovailoa Meets FC Barcelona

The Miami Dolphins are known how to have a good time when it comes to spending time with contemporaries from other sports. The Dolphins and FC Barcelona recently linked up in a fun-filled day of training, talk, and all things dribble.

Stars from the Miami Dolphins and Barcelona spent a day with each other playing football. Both teams posted clips on Twitter detailing the crossover. European and American football went head-to-head in unique challenges that promised nothing other than pure entertainment.

Moreover, the challenges were a part of the series being in production by the NFL. The series is called ‘Game Recognizes Game’. It places American football team players against global soccer clubs. Consequently, the aim is to pass a series of unorthodox skill tests in American and European football.

The crossover occurred on 19th July after FC Barcelona’s third training session in the United States. It happened on the MLS Club training ground, Inter Miami.

Who all were present in the crossover between Miami Dolphins and FC Barcelona?

In the training session between the Dolphins and Barcelona, Serginho Dest and Raphinha represented Barça. Their QB Tua Tagovailoa and Wide Receiver Jaylen Waddle were present from the Miami Dolphins’ side.

Tua Tagovailoa gets a new WR this season, Tyreek Hill, who left Patrick Mahomes to join the Dolphins. In a recent statement, the WR expressed his feelings about how much more time will the Dolphins give to the QB Tagovailoa before they look to move on from him. However, it is not certain if the feeling of regret is starting to set into Hill for leaving Mahomes in his prime.

Time will tell if Tua can maintain his position and if Tyreek Hill will enjoy playing the QB. In conclusion, more of these crossover training sessions are coming up; as the NFL’s production of the series Game Recognises Game aims to be a massive hit.
