The Brazilian Supermodel Gisele Bündchen might enjoy a lavish lifestyle today, but in reality, she had humble beginnings during her childhood days. In one of her interviews, Bündchen explained her rags-to-riches story of growing up in the small town of Horizontina, Brazil, with her five other sisters and establishing herself in the industry.
In 2002, she became the world’s richest and highest-paid supermodel, but her life was an entire mess, moving from one place to another with no certainty. During that time, she wanted a property, a place where she could fall back. And that was when Bündchen connected with Brady and made Boston her home, taking a halt from her modeling career.

More than owning a gigantic luxurious property, Bündchen explained that she wanted to stay connected with nature and thus chose to live on the outskirts of the city.
“Boston is my home now. You know, it’s where I’ve been living for the last, 2006 yeah. I think like nine years, eight years. I think I think in Boston I enjoy it.” Bündchen told her host Charlie Rose in the interview.
“It’s the city where you know I live outside of the city now. So I really enjoy being surrounded by nature kind of keeps me grounded and happy. So, it’s nice to wake up with the birds, and you know kids going to farm school near my house.”
“So it’s a nice place to live. You know, it was nice to feel like you have a place to go back and call it home because, for a long time, I didn’t have a home,” she added explaining the hustles and sacrifices she had to make throughout her career.
How big were Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady’s co-owned house in New England
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen met each other for the first time in 2006. She was already a star, and Brady was busy thriving in his football career. He was playing for the Patriots, and at that time, the duo moved to Boston, renting a mansion owned by the Baseball star Derek Jeter.

Later on, they shifted to their own house, a humungous castle on a 5.2-acre plot with a lush green backyard close to nature, exactly how Bündchen wanted in the first place. It was tremendously spacious and had top-notch amenities, including a chef’s kitchen, yoga studio, gym, pool, sauna, rehab tub, home theater, wine room, library, guest quarters, and a lot more.

As of now, the duo resides in Florida as the quarterback is a member of the Buccaneers community. Despite having enough wealth and luxuries, it’s always great to see how Bündchen remains grounded close to her roots, with zero regrets about life.
