For any child, it would be a lot of pressure to follow in their parent’s footsteps. Especially when one’s father is a star like Tom Brady, the stress adds up with the heightened expectations. But Brady once revealed how Gisele Bündchen stomped on the plans for his elder son, Jack.

Tom Brady had high ambitions that he reflected on his SiriusXM podcast, “Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray.” The Buccaneers quarterback revealed plans for his 14-year-old. However, his fantasy lasted only seconds until Gisele jolted him back to reality.
Brady mentioned, “I had a little future Wolverine, my son Jack, sitting on the bed with me as I was jumping around and we were wrestling and I said, ‘That’s where you’re gonna be! You’re gonna be in the Big House someday. You’re gonna be the starting quarterback for Michigan,’… And my wife was like, ‘Just let him be what he wants to be, for God’s sakes!’” Brady said. “It was a great day for our family.”

For Tom Brady, it is obvious to think about how his son could lead his reins. The QB has a fabulous career — clinching seven Super Bowls, which is not an easy accomplishment. He would have a blast seeing his elder son calling the plays while he sits in the stands rooting for him.

However, Bündchen had some sensible advice. Given that he is a young adolescent, he may develop into a player like his father. Alternatively, he may follow another athletic discipline or engage in something irrelevant to sports.
Jack may not take up either Tom Brady or Bridget Moynahan’s reins
Bridget Moynahan, who appeared on ABC’s Live With Kelly in 2017, made a bold assertion about Jack standing in for his mother’s spot or wearing his father’s cleats. She explicitly states that Jack has no desire to follow either her or Brady’s professions. He wants to pursue something of his own.

Moynahan mentions via NBC Sports Boston that she does not believe Jack will follow her or Brady. He aspires to play professional soccer. However, after the Olympics, he declares, “I think I’m going to win a gold [medal] in swimming.” Then came Michael Phelps. So I believe Jack simply relishes the medals.
Once Tom Brady retires, it will be a large void to fill. But John Moynahan, aka Jack, might not be the one. He might be passionate about football, but he may not opt for it as a profession.
