As autumn leaves fall and the unmistakable sound of pads clashing resonates through American stadiums, one legendary name finds himself absent from the playing rosters. It’s Tom Brady, the quarterback legend with 7 Super Bowl rings. A giant of the game, whose absence this season is palpably felt by fans and foes alike.

The very idea of an NFL season without Brady feels otherworldly. Yet, here we are. In a recent podcast, the man himself delved into his feelings on this paradigm shift, and the results were as introspective as they were touching.

The field’s silence echoes for the first time in 32 years.

Recently, the conversation went deeper with Tom Brady on the ‘Let’s Go Podcast’. The discussion covered Brady’s sense of displacement in a season where he’s not quarterbacking and how he’s redirected that fierce competitive spirit. The chat even veered into Brady’s perspectives on the Patriots and the future of the Kansas City Chiefs. It was a goldmine of insights, directly from the legend’s mouth.

“Ready,” was Brady’s energetic reply when asked about his well-being. But when nudged about his feelings on not being part of the gridiron action for the first time in over three decades, Brady was quick to correct, “32 years man. High school, College, and then obviously you know 20 years and going on. I’m actually gonna be on football field scratch going back to England on a Saturday. And Mr. Kraft has been very welcoming to me so I am gonna have lot of great friends. So many people text and tell me they’re very excited to see me come back.”

As Brady continues to miss the good old days, one thing is clear, his heart and soul are all about the sports world. The veteran athlete has proved it through his various investments, combining his sharp business acumen and on-field experience.

From the turf to the boardroom, Brady’s passion for the game remains undimmed. His acquisition of a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders Mark Davis, the Raiders owner, shared his excitement over this significant addition, making Brady just the third player in NFL history to transition into ownership.

While the decision brings Brady closer to the game, it’s also a historical nod. The likes of George Halas and Jerry Richardson are the only other players who’ve made this illustrious switch. In a way, Brady is maintaining his ties to the game, even if not directly on the field.

This season marks a significant shift. For the first time in 32 years, the NFL’s on-field action doesn’t have Brady’s heartbeat synchronizing with it. On the other hand, it would be equally thrilling to witness Brady from a spectator’s perspective.
