Former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Nate Burleson was not in a mood to mess around while shutting down Amber Heard and her lawyer Elaine Bredehoft’s claims. Being a former NFL player, Burleson was asking Bredehoft to be more accountable following her crushing defeat recently. While his comments were based on his own life, they shared clear relevance with Heard’s lawyer and her reasons for the loss.

During a CBS Morning Show, the lawyer was discussing the outcome of her recent case involving Hollywood actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Bredehoft implies that Depp’s popularity and support on social media were detrimental to them during the trial. The claims from Heard’s lawyer seemed to draw differing reactions from the entire CBS crew, including the Seahawks wideout.

Following Bredehoft’s comments, Burleson states, “I am a former NFL player, and after a hard loss, it’s easy to wake up and point to the other side. Oftentimes, I realized (that) the better thing to do was to look in the mirror.” Former Seahawks WR adds that he always tries to find if there were mistakes within his own game. Burleson was enquiring whether Bredehoft was able to have a moment of retrospection after her defeat.

Amber Heard and Elaine Bredehoft made mistakes, but they kept bringing up other factors

The question asked by Nate Burleson to Bredehoft further receives more deflection before a minor acceptance of their mistakes. Heard’s lawyer and her unconvincing answer was not something the former NFL WR was happy about, and his reaction says it all. The under-pressure Bredehoft believes that the social media influence on the jurors was real, and she believes they eventually lost.

The former NFL athlete made a valid point leading to Bredehoft praising him while scrambling for answers during the interview.
