Brian Griese in the NFL

Brian Griese started his career in the league with the Denver Broncos. The Broncs selected the quarterback in the third round of the 1998 NFL draft. He was the 91st overall pick. Griese spent four seasons in the city of Colorado. It brought him his one and only Super Bowl win in 1999.

The quarterback joined the Miami Dolphins just for a season in 2003. After that, Griese would join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a couple of seasons. Then, after a stint with the Chicago Bears, Brian would return to the Bucs in 2008. It was his last season as the quarterback announced his retirement soon after.

Griese will not be a total stranger with the 49ers. He has played under their head coach Kyle Shanahan at one point. During Brian’s first stay with the Buccaneers, Shanahan was the offensive quality control coach. San Francisco needs a lot of help in their offensive lineup. Griese has arrived at a critical time for the team, and they hope he can help in figuring out the QB situation. Do you think Brian Griese is the right choice for the San Francisco 49ers?
