Brian Griese is giving up his comfortable “Monday Night Football” analyst for a job with the San Francisco 49ers. The former color commentator is making his way back to the league after almost 13 years. The 49ers and their fans are very excited to have Griese on board.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is the new QB coach for the 49ers. This marks his first coaching job in the NFL. Griese will be replacing Rich Scangarello, who left San Francisco to become an offensive coordinator in Kentucky. The expertise of the former Super Bowl champion will be an immense help to the Niners’ shot callers.

Griese will not be a total stranger with the 49ers. He has played under their head coach Kyle Shanahan at one point. During Brian’s first stay with the Buccaneers, Shanahan was the offensive quality control coach. San Francisco needs a lot of help in their offensive lineup. Griese has arrived at a critical time for the team, and they hope he can help in figuring out the QB situation. Do you think Brian Griese is the right choice for the San Francisco 49ers?
