During his segment on NFL Live, Griffin was expanding on Gronk and his abilities, stating, “Just the fun he brought to the game. I will go one step further. He was so much fun for the fans. They fell in love with him… I know there are a lot of fans out there that are sad. They are not gonna be able to see any more Gronk spikes. Me, as a QB, never had Gronk. But this guy could stretch the field, and he could do everything you can ask a TE to do, make contested catches.”
