The Bucs quarterback has a lot of friends around the world due to his popularity and success. One of Brady’s close friends during his days with the Patriots was former President Donald Trump. However, that friendship has weakened over the years, and maybe Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen, is responsible for it.

Jonathan Martin’s new book called ‘This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future’, revealed many stories about Tom Brady and Donald Trump. Martin believes that Brady’s friendship went downhill with Trump when he got married to Gisele Bündchen.

The Brazilian supermodel, Gisele, made sure that TB12 followed a strict diet plan to extend his longevity on the field. However, that didn’t sit right well with Trump. Brady and the former President weren’t able to share the same taste again.

Jonathan Martin wrote, “The football star, Trump said, had not been the same after marrying Gisele Bündchen, who insisted on cooking him a painstakingly health-conscious diet,” 

Tom Brady grew apart from Donald Trump due to politics

Tom Brady has the utmost respect for Donald Trump, but he didn’t support his political ideology. He believed that friendship and politics should be kept aside from each other. As a result, they grew apart, and their friendship was never the same.

Talking about it, Brady said, “It was uncomfortable for me because you can’t undo things, not that I would undo a friendship, but political support is a lot different than the support of a friend.” 

Donald Trump wanted Brady to marry his daughter, but that also didn’t go through. In the end, Tom Brady married Gisele Bündchen, and it turned out well. Unfortunately, Gisele became the reason why the friendship between Brady and Trump began to sour.
