Telvin Smith has not played in the NFL since the end of the 2018 season. However, he has made the news for an unfortunate and despicable reason. As per the Duval County jail website, Smith was arrested last night.  Jacksonville Jaguars are aware of the report involving their former player. But they declined to comment as the investigation is ongoing.

As Telvin Smith is older than 24, he could be found guilty by the jury under a second-degree felony. In this case, he faces “no more than 15 years in prison and the potential fine of up to $10,000.”

Unfortunately, things don’t look good for the NFL player. This is not the first time he has been embroiled in legal issues. Last November, a black Cadillac was towed away from his house. Once more ESPN’s sources link it to the alleged incidents with the 17-year-old.
