He was in contention for the league MVP award, which was ultimately bagged by Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. But Wilson is reportedly unhappy with the offensive line surrounding him in Seattle.

The 32-year-old was sacked 47 times last year. In the 3 years prior to that, Wilson was sacked on 132 occasions. The Seahawks were expected to strengthen in the ongoing offseason, but so far, they’ve been the mostly silent team on the market.

Will Russell Wilson remain with Seattle Seahawks in 2021?

On the latest segment of FS1’s First Things First, former Atlanta Falcons star-turned-analyst Brandon Marshall fired shots at HC Pete Carroll and Seattle Seahawks for their inability to sign an offensive lineman in the last 24 hours.

He said, “ There were 12 offensive linemen taken yesterday and they didn’t take one. Are they going to participate in free agency to take care of that guy (Russell Wilson)?

“This is Pete Carroll showing us and telling us, ‘Look, I’m not willing to budge’. This is not good if you’re a Seattle Seahawks fan, if you’re a Russell Wilson fan…

“Pete Caroll is telling you exactly how he feels about this situation and he’s not really going to protect Russ which means the Chicago Bears and the Vegas Raiders situation just got real,” Marshall said on the show.

He is reportedly being pursued by the likes of the Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders, who are in dire need of a big-name quarterback. The Bears, in particular, are not making it a secret that they want ‘DangeRuss’ Wilson.

The former Super Bowl winner’s agent claimed Russ will not force through a trade move away from Seattle this summer. However, crazier things have happened in the NFL. Watch this space for more.
