Former NFL Man Blasts Pete Carroll-led Seattle Seahawks for Inactivity in Free Agency

The Russell Wilson-led Seattle Seahawks finished their 2020 NFL campaign on a sour note with a shock 20-30 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs.
Despite winning the NFC West title, the Seahawks were outplayed by their divisional rivals, who put in a strong defensive display in the Playoffs.
But despite their heartbreak, Seahawks fans took solace in the performance of star quarterback Russell Wilson. The veteran NFL quarterback threw for 4,300+ yards with 40+ passing TDs in 2020.

He was in contention for the league MVP award, which was ultimately bagged by Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. But Wilson is reportedly unhappy with the offensive line surrounding him in Seattle.
The 32-year-old was sacked 47 times last year. In the 3 years prior to that, Wilson was sacked on 132 occasions. The Seahawks were expected to strengthen in the ongoing offseason, but so far, they’ve been the mostly silent team on the market.

On the latest segment of FS1’s First Things First, former Atlanta Falcons star-turned-analyst Brandon Marshall fired shots at HC Pete Carroll and Seattle Seahawks for their inability to sign an offensive lineman in the last 24 hours.
He said, “ There were 12 offensive linemen taken yesterday and they didn’t take one. Are they going to participate in free agency to take care of that guy (Russell Wilson)?

Despite the number of hits he’s been taking, Wilson remains an undisputed starter for the Seahawks. He is reportedly being pursued by the likes of the Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders, who are in dire need of a big-name quarterback. The Bears, in particular, are not making it a secret that they want ‘DangeRuss’ Wilson.
