Former NFL Quarterback Compares Draft Prospect to Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott is one of the most revered quarterbacks in the NFL today. The Cowboys’ star has been massively underrated during his time in the league.
While he spent much of his time last season on the sidelines due to an injury, his quality remains unquestioned. But could we be on the verge of seeing a new Dak Prescott in the league? One former quarterback believes so.
Former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky took to Twitter to laud NFL Draft prospect Trey Lance. He believes that Lance is very similar to Dak Prescott.

He noted that much like Prescott, he is a great passer, and can throw the ball deep. Furthermore, he has the ability to throw the ball in active movement and has great decision-making.

Coming from a fellow quarterback like Orlovski, this is high praise for Lance. Prescott is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL currently.
His ability to lift a team just by his passing and overall performance is unparalleled, as we saw this season. To be compared to a player like Prescott is huge for Lance, and he will be hoping to live up to this comparison.

Prescott was one of the few positives for the Dallas Cowboys this season. In the few games that he did play for the Cowboys, he put in solid performances.

But unfortunately for the Cowboys, Prescott suffered an injury early in the season. The loss of Prescott led to the Cowboys having a real slump and going on a major losing streak.

However, the Cowboys were able to salvage their season in the final stretch. They went on a bit of a winning streak. But ultimately, they ended up missing the Playoffs on the final day of the season, after a loss to the New York Giants. It was a fitting end to what was a poor season for the Cowboys.
