Despite months of speculations, negotiations, and revelations, Aaron Rodgers‘ future still remains uncertain. Earlier, Rodgers made his intentions of joining the New York Jets and moving on from the Green Bay Packers known to the entire NFL community. And, now, his podcast partner and ex-punter Pat McAfee mentioned something about the Jets Owner.

Rodgers even shut down all doors of his possible return to the Packers, as even they have moved on to newer opportunities. Rodgers’ close friend, Pat McAfee just like many others is concerned about the situation, and had a rather interesting point of discussion: The Jets owner.

But Rodgers’ dear friend, Pat McAfee brings up a great point: Was Woody Johnson and the Jets aware of this?

According to McAfee, “Who knows what they did. If he (Woody Johnson) was learning that on our program, and not from those conversations, I’d say that’s an issue.

Additionally, McAfee added, “And apparently like a lot of people legitimately had no idea what he was gonna say, like to think that the owner of the Jets was learning this ship the same time that we were is fascinating,

Communication with Rodgers was the biggest issue cited by the Green Bay Packers GM and maybe the Jets are on the same ship. While the NFL Combine was speculated to be the negotiating ground for both the Packers and Jets, nothing substantial has come out of those speculations, so where does the Aaron Rodgers trade stand?

Is the Aaron Rodgers trade bound to fail?

Aaron Rodgers wasn’t the only big-time name on the Jets’ off-season checklist. The New York franchise was also pursuing Odell Beckham Jr. The OBJ trade has since fallen short, as he signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

Several NFL Insiders believe that a similar fate awaits Aaron Rodgers’ trade as well. Some even believe that Rodgers is way too expensive for the Jets to actually recruit him to their ranks.
