Kaepernick in that clip surely displayed that he has been in very good shape over these past few years. Some analysts believe that he might have a good chance to return as the NFL lacks QB1 caliber players right now, others believe he has no chance. However, if that ever happens remains to be seen.

There is still plenty of time left for the teams to make a decision. However, keeping in mind his controversial past and civil rights activism on the gridiron, it will be seen which team would choose to bet on him. Especially after Kaepernick was “blackballed by the league after he first started taking a knee during the national anthem in protest.”

Will Colin Kaepernick return to NFL?

The Colin Kaepernick workout video attracted a lot of attention. But it was the

caption of the tweet that read, “Still Working” was something that made fans speculate his return in the league. And now that many franchises are on the lookout for a starting-caliber quarterback like the Saints, Steelers, and even 49ers it will be seen what happens next.

Kaepernick was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2011 NFL Draft season. He spent the next six seasons of his NFL career with the Niners before opting out of his contract in 2017 and becoming a free agent. Though being out of the league for five years, he has still maintained commendable shape and fitness.

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Kaepernick claims to be “in the best shape of his life. He wants to play. He’s ready play. He would be a great fit for teams with QB vacancies to fill who want to win a Super Bowl.” Clearly, the former QB wants to have another go in the league.

Now that the NFL teams are desperately on the lookout for starting quarterbacks, Kaepernick might as well take part in that race. Which team would you want to see Colin Kaepernick play for in the 2022 season? Let us know in the comments below!
