NFL franchise Chicago Bears wide receiver Byron Pringle might be in deep trouble after the emergence of concerning recent reports. On Saturday, Pringle was taken into Florida Highway Patrol’s custody with charges of reckless driving. He was also driving with a suspended license in a prior offense from some time before.

The former Chiefs wideout was pulled over on a public road by the police for doing donuts. It was within his 2016 Dodge Challenge SRT Hellcat car that he was in custody. It was a dangerous driving offense with an adult passenger in the right front seat and a male juvenile child in the left rear seat.

Pringle’s vehicle seems to have been possessing multiple charges for differing reasons.

The situation was poorly handled by Pringle, who was ‘verbally confrontational’ against the arresting officer. He was also ignoring the commands from the officer on duty and went to Pasco County Jail. While he remains in custody, no official statement has been sent by Pringle and his representatives about his current situation.

Byron Pringle’s NFL career so far

Pringle was among the recent acquisitions for the Bears franchise, who signed him on a 1-year, $4.125 million contract. He was coming off of one of his best individual seasons, totaling 42 receptions for 568 receiving yards and 5 TDs. He was just beginning to click into gear and would have led to the elevation of the threat of the Bears’ offense.
