The man who is recognized as the greatest quarterback of all time has made it quite clear that his playing days are over. Tom Brady has closed all the doors for the conversations brewing up regarding his unretiring and making a comeback in the NFL. So, after such claims, Brady is looking forward to other ventures that he’d paying more attention to, from now on. For that reason, he’s also gone ahead and signed a lot of deals to keep himself busy.

Some of these deals include him becoming the No. 1 NFL analyst for FOX Sports, and he also took the opportunity to be the strategy advisor for Delta Air Lines. Besides this, Brady has also become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, which has been creating an uproar among the fans. Even his former teammate and good friend, Julian Edelman, has given his 2 cents on the subject.

Since the month of March, Tom Brady has been in touch with the Raiders owner Mark Davis where they shook hands on the ownership deal about the WNBA Las Vegas Aces. Now, this sprouted numerous speculations about Brady prying his way into the NFL ownership group. Well, his wishes came true just after a few months of time.

It is to be noted that ‘Tom Terrific’ probably owns less than 51% of the Raiders as he’s just a minority owner. Well, amid all the agreements and deals, in a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Julian Edelman was asked about his thoughts on Brady taking part in the ownership of the Raiders. He said, “I think he’ll be spectacular, anything he does, he’s spectacular. And that’s the truth because he creates stories in his head like for anything.

Edelman also mentioned that these stories let the 7x SB champion move forward, no matter what may come in front of him. In addition, even Tom Brady himself believes that it’s going to turn out great since this is something that he’s dreamt about for a long time now.

Interestingly, this past weekend, he even appeared as the official owner of the Raiders in their previous game against the Dallas Cowboys. Well, Brady couldn’t encounter a victory in his first game with the Raiders, but the team still can redeem that loss against Russell Wilson’s Denver Broncos in the 2023 NFL Week 1 game.

However, in an interview with the Associated Press, Brady listed out why this deal means so much to him. He said, “I grew up in the Bay Area. My favorite team was the 49ers. The team across the bay was the Raiders. And, you know, they’re an iconic NFL franchise.” Then he went on to talk about his admiration for the legendary Football coach, Al Davis. He continued, “He’s not with us anymore but I’ve heard incredible stories. And then the opportunity came about to become a minority owner in the Raiders, it was a dream come true for me.
