In a recent Twitter post shared by Adam Schefter, Jaire Alexander proclaimed Jordan Love to be the best QB in the league. The tweet captioned, “Packers’ CB Jaire Alexander believes in Jordan Love:” with the picture adding, “Best QB in the league.” This is a strong take by Jaire Alexander, who was called out by his former teammate last October.

When the Packers lost to the Giants in London last season, Jaire said he is not worried, but if they go on to lose next week, that will worry him. This drew Rodgers to reply by saying we should not be talking about losing. He adds that he does not like the conversation about losing next, referring to their trip back to the States. This may have sowed the seeds of difference between the two players which is now reflected in the news. But he was not the only one to have made such a comparison between Love and Rodgers.

Alexander was not the first player to choose Jordan Love over Aaron Rodgers. His teammate, Romeo Doubs called it before him as he said he does not see a big difference between the two. Earlier this month, Romeo Doubs backed Jordan Love to perform and cover the gap left behind by Aaron Rodgers at the Packers.

Doubs was in his rookie year last season, as Rodgers oversaw what came to be his final campaign at the Packers. Love, on the other hand, will appreciate the support from Alexander and Doubs as he steps up to the center. He will hope his experience and learnings while under Aaron Rodgers have been enough to overcome his limited game experience as a starter.
