Former Washington Football Team quarterback turned NFL analyst Robert Griffin III took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the release of his upcoming book on August 2022 through Simon and Schuster, titled “Surviving Washington.”

The book is going to cover in detail the shocking mismanagement of the franchise and a toxic work culture. His book is going to drop like a bombshell exposing the Washington Football Team during his time with them.

Robert Griffin III on the upcoming release of his book

“Every experience that I’ve ever had has made me a better husband, father and player,” Griffin said in a Twitter video. “But I want you to take this journey with me as I walk you through one of the most dysfunctional franchises in all of sports.”

“I’m gonna tell you the truth about what happened in that playoff game in 2012 against Seattle,” he said. “I’m going detail the medical mismanagement that I received during my time in Washington.” 

“I’m going to open your eyes to the sexual harassment that permeated the walls of that building and give you a deep dive into a power struggle between one of the most powerful coaches in sports and an owner that you want gone,” Griffin added. “They say the truth will set you free.”

Robert Griffin during his playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks which was actually in early 2013, the quarterback played through a knee injury. He took a hard snap and suffered a torn ACL and LCL. That game also resulted in a loss for the Washington.

Griffin III also promises to expose the franchise of all the sexual harassment cases the Washingtons were accused of. However, a lot of those cases have already been documented, but it is to be seen if Griffin’s book could show some light around the dark corners of the case.
