However, Carson Wentz embarked on a black bear hunt in the vast wilderness of Alaska. This bold choice has ignited controversy among both his supporters and critics which could have significant repercussions on his NFL career.

Carson Wentz’s black bear incident

NFL free agent quarterback Carson Wentz, in June, went for a black bear hunt in Alaska. And after the hunting, Wentz shared a glimpse of the hunt on his Instagram account in which he was seen posing near the hunted Black Bear. Moreover, Wentz termed the hunt as a “bucket list” achievement, as he successfully hunted the bear using a bow and arrow.

While black bear hunting is legal in Alaska when done following state regulations, many online users expressed their disapproval of Wentz’s hunt. Wentz faced online criticism from the users with the majority of them claiming it to be unethical.
