George Kittle was seen enjoying himself at the NHL Stadium Series hockey game in Nashville. He was supporting the Nashville Predators as they took on the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Nissan Stadium.
Kittle was there supporting his friend and Predators Alternate Captain Filip Forsberg. In an interview with the commentators, the TE revealed that he and Forsberg met through their respective partners. Kittle moved to Nashville five years ago and feels lucky to have made that decision. As per Kittle, when his wife told him about Forsberg, she said, “Hey, you should meet this Swedish hockey player.”

The two seemed to be having fun even though the unfortunate results of the game. But it was one of those matches where the results did not matter. The Predators organization put on a show and Nashville showed up.

Respectful defeat for the Predators
Even the opposition’s coach had to acknowledge the amazing spectacle that the Predators put on. Lightning’s Coach Jon Cooper said, “I know one team wins the game, but I don’t know how anybody, in the end, can leave on a downer after the event that was put on.” He further added, “It was exceptional.”

The home team lost 3-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning team but that did not mean any loss in their enthusiasm. As far as Kittle and Forsberg were concerned, the Tight End was seen shouting at the top of his voice after his friend and the Predator’s Forsberg scored a goal. Although it was not enough to get them to the promised land, it was enough that the Tight End for the 49ers would look back at this as one of the good nights.
