Lamar Jackson continues to be the talk of the NFL world. He seems to find himself in the midst of growing controversies without his contract updates getting any clarity. Being one of the players who remains agentless in the NFL, the 2019 MVP has a tough road ahead to tread. Even after being non-exclusive franchise tagged by the Baltimore Ravens, no team is coming forward with an interest to offer the player a contract. And even more recently, the NFL management council warned teams of a possible man named Ken Francis trying to negotiate a deal for the QB.

In the midst of everything happening in his contract drama, Jackson took to social media to share a cryptic message, leaving fans guessing.

Lamar Jackson shares spiritual IG story 

A few hours after the rumored uncertified agent controversy, Lamar Jackson shared a spiritual post on his Instagram story. The post said, “Y’all be scared to worship GOD HE SAVED MY LIFE plenty of times.” Along with the story, Jackson wrote, “People be so quick to praise lil stupid(poop emoji) but call god when you in trouble. Get your mind right.”

It seems like the former NFL MVP might be hinting at everything that is going around his contract drama. Jackson is undeniably an excellent performer on the field. And he has been a vital asset for the Ravens. But after the Ravens decided to non-franchise tag the player after 2 years of contract standoff, it seems like the perspective of the team regarding Jackson is changing.

Apart from this, Jackson found himself in the mud again after an unknown man uncertified by the NFLPA has been reportedly going around trying to cash in a nine-figure contract for the quarterback.

The Ken Francis rumors

The NFL management council recently circulated a memo amongst all the teams in the league warning them about the consequences of dealing with an uncertified individual named Ken Francis. It stated that Francis has been trying to persuade club personnel into negotiation for Lamar Jackson. The memo further warned that they could charge any team found guilty of defying the rules with a fine of $54,409. But Jackson has come out to call this event false and asked officials to stop lying about his contract situation.

It is turning out to be a difficult time for the quarterback. With teams backing out from possible trade talks to new controversies lining up, the situation for Jackson does not look like the one he hoped for. The NFL world will be waiting to see how things finally turn out for the quarterback.
