Gisele Bündchen Once Reflected Back on Issues That Led to Her Panic Attacks Long Before Meeting NFL’s Golden Boy Tom Brady

Gisele Bündchen is one of the greatest supermodels in the world. She has worked with almost every big designer and appeared on numerous magazine covers. But what was it that gave her panic attacks?

She once opened up about the reasons she got panic attacks before she met her husband, Tom Brady.

Bundchen talked about her packed work schedule and panic attacks

Speaking on CBS Mornings’ series “Note to self” back in 2018, Gisele Bündchen talked to her younger self about the struggles she faced in her life. She talked about the issues that caused her to have panic attacks during her career.

“The high demands of your work schedule, constantly traveling, coupled with a desire to please everyone, contributes to you starting to have panic attacks. You learn that by saying yes to everyone all the time, you are actually saying no to you,” Bündchen said.

“People’s opinions of you often have nothing to do with you but mostly about how they feel about themselves and their own insecurities,” she added.

“Drop the guilt, relax. It is not your responsibility to please everyone and fix everything. Slow down, breathe. Trust your intuition and remember, it is about giving and receiving,” she advised her younger self.

Gisele Bündchen and her illustrious career

Gisele Bündchen originally hails from Brazil but moved to the United States when she was 18. Since then, she has risen to the zenith of the fashion world. She has appeared on more than 1200 magazine covers and became the highest paid supermodel in the world. She is worth more than $400 million, according to reports.

Bündchen was honored by Harvard Medical School with a Global Citizen Award. She has also won the Eco Laureate Award at the 2017 Green Carpet Fashion awards. She has won several other awards and nominations in her career.

Bündchen married NFL superstar, Tom Brady in 2009. The couple has two children, Benjamin and Vivian. Gisele also acts as a stepmom to Brady’s oldest son Jack, whom she has called her “bonus” child. They are one of the three highest-earning celebrity couples of the past decade, according to Forbes magazine.

The couple is going through a divorce after 13 years of marriage. Bündchen is reportedly not happy with Brady’s decision to come out of retirement. He announced his retirement earlier this year at the age of 45. But the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback came out of it in just 40 days.

Bündchen is reportedly not happy with the time Tom Brady spends with the family and wants him to do more. But being the greatest player in the game and constantly playing at the top level has seemingly taken its toll.
