Gisele Bündchen experienced a change in tradition this holiday season. Christmas this year did not include the presence of someone the model was with for more than a decade. After a year of being in the spotlight and going through a divorce in the public eye, the model spent her first holiday season without her ex-husband, Tom Brady.

But the split did not deter her from embracing family time during the holiday season. Bündchen was once again in the spotlight because of her recent vacation. So, where did the model head to for the holidays?

There’s no place like home for the holidays. So that’s exactly what Bündchen did. The model took a trip to Brazil with her two children, Benjamin and Vivian. The former Victoria’s Secret model may have found comfort and joy in spending time with her parents.

From her memoir ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’, we understand Bündchen is strongly connected to her family, especially her parents. The close-knit bond she has with them is often showcased on her social media and in interviews. Her most recent trip documented all of her adventures at home.

The model shared wholesome images of her trip. Her most recent Instagram post showcased some gorgeous and wholesome pictures. One image shows the model hugging her father and mother. A translated part of her Portuguese caption read, “It’s my Rio Grande do Sul Heaven, Sun, South, Earth and Color Where everything that is planted grows and what blooms the most is love. Always so good to be back home.” The series of images Bündchen put up gave fans a glimpse into the family’s adventures in the great outdoors.

Bündchen and Brady have their priorities straight despite differences

While Bündchen and the kids were gallivanting abroad, Brady was fighting for his dignity within the league. The QB’s majorly unsuccessful year has put a lot of pressure on his performance towards the end of the season. The Buccaneers are fighting hard for a spot in the playoffs. But, a poorly performing division has them seated atop the NFC South at present.

A consolation for his first Christmas after his divorce was a Christmas Day victory against the Cardinals. Brady has stated that he would need to get accustomed to spending the holiday alone in a hotel room. But the QB did not have to despair for long and had some family time of his own. The co-parenting journey may have the former couple’s hands full. But, it does seem like both Brady and Bündchen are prioritizing their relationships with the kids in spite of everything that has happened this year.
