Last year in October, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen ended their 13 years of marriage. Since then, both of them have been enjoying their lives separately. Although they spoke about their divorce afterwards, they never gave details about the reason behind it. On the other hand, during a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Bündchen opened up about her relationship with Brady over the years. She also talked about meeting the 7-time Super Bowl champion for the first time through a blind date. Was her decision right?

The former Victoria’s Secret model revealed some interesting facts about meeting Brady, as she wanted to have a family because she felt ready to have one. However, over time, their priorities changed, as they both wanted different things.

Bündchen talks about the evolution of her relationship with Tom Brady

While talking to Vanity Fair, Bündchen said, “When I met Tom, I was 26 years old, and I wanted a family. I felt so ready.” Notably, they met through a mutual friend, Ed Razek, on a blind date. In an interview with Vanity Fair back in 2009, she revealed that she knew Brady was the one when she met him.

However, that changed over the years, as the Brazilian model said, “Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart… When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make.“

Although they have gone their separate ways, the love is still there for Bündchen. “That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.“

After their divorce, both of them are now taking turns spending time with their kids. Earlier, Brady took his 3 children on a snowy trip, and recently, Bündchen spent a lovely time with her daughter as well. 

Is there any chance of Brady and Bündchen getting back together?

As per multiple reports, Brady coming out of retirement caused some problems in their relationship last year, as she wanted him to take care of the family. However, Brady played one more season in the NFL and recently retired once again. Since then, he has become a true family person, as he is spending lots of time with his kids.

He also reportedly has delayed his deal with Fox as an analyst, as he will join the team in 2024. Many reports suggest that he is hoping to win his ex-wife back in that 1 year’s time; hence, he decided to join the Fox team in 2024. Although it’s unlikely that the pair will get back together again. Brady is certainly not lacking in effort, and many fans are still hoping to see them back together in the future.
