God Bless America: Saints’ Cam Jordan Jokes About Sacking Tom Brady
Follow Us
Sunday wasn’t a good day for the defending champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers and especially not for Tom Brady as they failed to score a single point against the now 7-7 New Orleans Saints. It was a nightmare of a game for the offense on both sides. Although, the Saints did manage to score three field goals throughout the game while the Bucs couldn’t.
Tom Brady threw an interception late in the fourth quarter of the game. He also got sacked four times. Amongst those four sacks, Cam Jordan, the star defensive end of the New Orleans Saints, made two. Following his second sack of the night, Jordan reached a career milestone of 100 sacks, and that too, when battling the best in the league.

Cam Jordan on sacking Tom Brady
In his post-game interview, when asked about his career 100th sack against Tom Brady, Cam Jordan joked and said, “Oh yeah, that’s good stuff right there. God bless America,” the veteran DE joked. To which Michelle Tafoya replied: “Well God bless America and God bless the kids.” And then, she displayed a clip of Jordan’s kids celebrating his career 100 sack.

Jordan seemingly enjoyed his kids hyping up all about the great feat achieved by the athlete. “They know the vibes,” Jordan said. “In the Saints history there’s only two people with a 100 sacks plus, is me and Rickey Jackson, love it.” Jordan thoroughly felt the moment of achieving such a phenomenal feat of crossing his career milestone of 100 sacks. Currently, he has recorded 100.5 sacks throughout his career.

The Saints are now at the second spot in the NFC South table with a reputable 7-7 run. Surprisingly for a man who owns multiple teams, Tom Brady has lost to the Saints in their last four regular-season matchups. Brady, although, has won against the Saints in the playoffs the previous season, but failed to maintain that victorious run going.
