But while his prowess on the football field is well known, Panthers WR Adam Thielen revealed an ‘unbelievable’ lesser-known talent that Rodgers possesses. 

While his work on the football field and some of his off-field antics have driven most of the news surrounding him, Rodgers has always been one of the greatest athletes in the sport. But in an episode of the Rich Eisen Show, Thielen began to detail Rodger’s skills on the 12-hole course, which even puts professionals to sleep.

In an appearance on the popular Rich Eisen Show, the newly signed Panthers WR got down to some storytelling about the NFL’s best golf players. In conversation about some of the best golfers in the NFL, Thielen revealed that Aaron Rodgers is one of, if not the best putter he has ever seen.

“I think you got Case Keenum. You got Rodgers, who is the best putter I’ve ever seen, whether that’s a pro golfer or not really, and so he kind of keeps himself in that conversation because of that,” he said.

Thielen, himself, is a well-experienced golfer and even proclaimed himself as the best golfer presently in the NFL. As he detailed stories of Rodgers’ unbelievable prowess on the greens, the WR was audibly in awe of the talent that the QB has.

“It’s unbelievable, it’s unbelievable. The first time I saw it, you know, I was like, all right…  Every single time I play with ‘em, it’s like you’re in awe of how many putts he makes and how confident he is,” he added.

But while Thielen’s claims might sound ridiculous, Aaron Rodgers has always backed up his skills on the golf course. 

Aaron Rodgers’ dominance at Capital One’s ‘The Match’

Aaron Rodgers has notably been one of the best golfers in the entire football world, and he proved himself on the course with his dominance at Capital One’s ‘The Match’. Rodgers has starred a couple of times at the premier celebrity golf showcase. Rodgers’ golf prowess was on full display, as the QB would pair alongside Bryson DeChambeau to defeat Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady in the fourth edition of the event in 2021. 

He would then return in 2022, paired alongside his nemesis Tom Brady, and once again put his skills to the test, defeating the rising QB pair of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. With the latest edition of ‘The Match’ slated to take place on 29th June as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce take on the sharpshooting duo of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, can the team of Super Bowl champs prove themselves as worthy competitors to Rodgers on the golf course?
