In the past month, Tua Tagovailoa and his run in with consecutive concussions has garnered a lot of concern. And now the internet is once again praying for a Tagovailoa. However, it is not Tua this time.

Taulia Tagovailoa is the younger brother of the Dolphins quarterback. Currently in his 3rd season with the Maryland Football Terrapins. After transferring from Alabama, the quarterback has had a decent run at the collegiate level. But now it seems like his season might come to an end. Recently, the Terrapins played the Indiana Hoosiers away from home. while Taulia started brightly and looked good. They stretchered the youngster off of the field after an opposition defender landed awkwardly around his knee.

And as Tua battles his way through his concussion. Fans have poured in their prayers for his younger brother as well.

Sympathizing with the brothers, this fan had only one word.

Highlighting the same misfortunes, a fan acknowledged the rough past few weeks for the Tagovailoa family.

While others offer their prayers, this fan has questioned the reason behind the catastrophic luck of the brothers.

And although the player seems to be out for long, the fans have nothing but good wishes for him.

Tua Tagovailoa and his mistreatment

When the Miami Dolphins played their 3rd game of the season against the Buffalo Bills. The quarterback was tackled and thrown to the ground, hitting his head against the turf in the process. Even though he looked like he was struggling, the player cleared the concussion check and was sent back to the field. However, tragedy struck again the next week while the team played the Cincinnati Bengals. In a very similar fashion, Tagovailoa was again sent to the ground, taking a knock to the head. And this time, it was more than evident that the player had to be taken off.

After hospitalizing the player, they diagnosed him with a concussion. This ordeal grabbed the attention of players and fans alike. Initiating a dialogue with the NFL for new protocols to be put in place so any such mishappening does not repeat in the future.

Updates on the quarterback’s return

The quarterback has had very tough luck with injuries. Missing 6 games in his first season and then another 4 games this past season. He has suffered from ankle problems to injuries in his throwing hand. And while it seemed that the player would have a long healthy stretch this season, it did not pan out like that. However, the player is reportedly very close to return after clearing the concussion protocol.

In contrast to the older brother’s good news, Taulia is now out with a serious injury. And while we all hope that he recovers quickly and comes back healthy. It is surely a tough road ahead.
